The last time I used my new stainless steel trays I was sad to be left with a broccoli sprout mess. I told myself Iβd try again using a different form of sprouting seed. Having lentils in hand, I soaked them overnight and began giving them sprout baths twice a day. On the third day they were done!
I had never had lentil sprouts before. Theyβre very tasty! A little spicy and nutty, they went well with our mackerel salads at lunch. Just enough crunch too from the sprout, while the lentil was soft.
Iβm pretty pleased with the results!
Iβm taking some time off off updating what weβre doing day to day. Instead, Iβll update my blog with some roundups of where weβve been, why weβre on a boat, our favorite things, and maybe some productivity stuff Iβve been working through. I also am editing our videos, the first being our third Disney World video. The other two are up on our family YouTube channel.
Iβll leave a picture of Shane and Kelly working on removing pesky oxidation from the stainless yesterday. Itβs getting hot around here, but they were focused and working hard. Wyatt helped Shane wash down the boat earlier in the day and run errands. I got to do four loads of laundry! Letβs see what else we can get done!
