Is it time for you to hire a video editor?
Outsourcing your video editing will allow you the ability to allocate your time to revenue producing activities. On top of the time saved, I also offer consulting services to my clientele that will ensure the time they spend recording their content is optimized for their goals.
Improve your video polish. Increase the know, like and trust value your videos produce by staying on brand and increasing the professional quality of the production.
Video is an effective way for your ideal clients to get to know you. I work with coaches who are the personality behind their brand. Consistently publishing content is the best way to reinforce your relationship and authority in your subject manner. By handing over the ownership of the editing and publishing of your recorded content you are able to increase the likelihood that you will be consistent in your production quality and quantity.
You know you want to hire a video editor. How do you go about doing so?
- Consider if we would be a good fit when it comes to my hours of availability for communication.
I work at varied hours throughout the days, but am primarily available during business hours in Pacific Time. Find out what time it is right now where I am: https://time.is/PT - How would you like to handle payment for your video editor?
I accept USD through online payments. If you would like to use a different currency I will happily work with you. Please note it might be a few extra steps than if you were to work with someone in your currency. If needed I can create a payment installment plan for work that is more longterm or larger in scope. - Do you also need a videographer?
I have worked with videographers in the past as contractors. I’ve had success in discussing my shot list and goals when it comes to projects in the past. Communication is key. I am not available for videography work. If you shoot your own videos, that’s great! I’m happy to offer advice on camera angles, lighting, and your method for organizing and transferring files to me, as your editor. - Write down your goals in working with a video editor.
Do you have a lot of content you want to have edited that will drip out in your larger content strategy over time? Do you have a one-off ad you need done quickly? I’m quick to respond and available for your inspired content ideas when you are ready. I also have the bandwidth to work with you over time, becoming a trusted member of your team. - Find someone who is trustworthy, professional, and fun to work with.
I took a couple years away from the computer in hospitality, welcoming guests in at a luxury resort. I came away with valuing discretion and a “yes” attitude more than I have ever. In working with me you can feel comfortable in making mistakes while recording, knowing that I will always present you in your best light, and that I will be just as excited about creating your best end result as you. - Discuss rates and budget.
Do you have an idea of what you can afford in creating video content for marketing, ads, or for behind a pay-wall? I have packages with prices that will give you an idea of what I have charged clients in the past. I’m happy to work with your budget to see what I am able to deliver around what you have budgeted today. - Let’s get to work!
I will happily jump on a call to chat over the phone about your goals and the project you have in mind. Send me a quick email or give me a call.
